Intensity

A simple way to understand how hard you should be pushing on each workout.

Workout intensity is a coach-set guide.
Use the symbol shown on a workout to understand the intended level of effort. It is separate from RPE and does not replace exercise-specific instructions.
Flow water wave

Flow

Movement, technique, and very low training stress. Keep the work smooth and leave plenty in reserve.

Restore leaf

Restore

Recovery-focused training with low fatigue. Build movement quality without creating much residual stress.

Build dumbbell

Build

Productive training with moderate effort. This is the primary working zone for building strength and capacity.

Peak mountain

Peak

High-intensity training with significant demand. Use for focused, demanding work.

Max flame

Max

Maximal or near-maximal effort. Highest training demand and greatest fatigue cost.

Coach's Note
Intensity is a guide, not a limit. Adjust based on the athlete's readiness, goals, and the structure of the program.
